In 2005 I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR and established my own licensed massage therapy practice. Massage school was an amazing experience, leading me to developed a passion for Deep Tissue and Thai massage. I have over 1,400 hours of study in massage therapy and bodywork, including 800 hours of advanced Thai massage training, including initiation and training in the beautiful art of Tok Sen. I have traveled to Thailand many times, for my own training and also leading students groups for advanced study at Loi Kroh, Om Sala, ITM and with Ajahn Pichest Boonthumme. I am blessed to continue my education with the many incredible massage teachers in the US including completion of the 300 hour Thai Specialist Program at the Naga Center. I have also trained in Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage, Thai abdominal massage, Thai Herbal Compress Massage, Jap Sen, Prenatal Thai Massage, and Craniosacral therapy.

My style of bodywork is traditional Thai massage infused with my intensive training in deep tissue massage and complimented by my long term, dedicated yoga and meditation practice. All of my massage work is currently being done on a thick, comfortable mat on the floor with the client comfortably clothed. Receiving work on a mat is grounding and secure, it allows you to fully relax without the worry of falling from a table. I specialize in and offer expert therapeutic work for chronic pain management and injury recovery while also providing nurturing and balancing work for emotional well being. I also teach Thai massage classes and provide private mentoring of Thai massage.

Around the same time I began my massage practice I also began an intensive meditation practice. The practice of formal sitting eventually merged with my long term yoga practice (on and off since the mid-1980’s, dedicated since 2004) and has taught me the deep healing power of silence. I welcome and encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to be with me in silence during treatment, especially in these intense times when it is rare to have quiet downtime. Come and enjoy the peaceful setting of my massage studio. Healing is made possible when we allow ourselves to be present in our bodies fully and without judgement, and bodywork is a fantastic grounding force and catalyst for healing both physical and beyond.
